Farewell Gavin

Had a farewell dinner yesterday for Gavin, my brother in law. He’s leaving for Japan for a work stint, probably for a year. I’m sure he’ll be deeply missed! And like what my MIL said, by the time he comes back, Jayson will be able to run around already!

It’s funny to feel a little weird to know that he’s not ‘around’ anymore because we tend to take people’s presence for granted! Told dear about it and made us realise how complacent we can be at times until the usual ‘presence’ suddenly disappear… ooo…deep…
 
But anyway, my in laws have flown over there with him, until things have settled. We thought about visiting him in Tokyo too some time.. hopefully it can come to pass…Disneyland dream!

I’m sure the boys will miss their SokSok a lot!

Come to think of it, 1 year is actually not a very long time, so as we all know, time flies so i wish him all the best, and to his girlfriend too!
